Our ves­sel the ​“Ste­fanie” brings you 365 days of the year from the east-bank Hik­ing Trail, from the Hall­statt rail­waysta­tion to Hall­statt and back. The Line Hall­statt to the rail­way sta­tion is the only ship con­nec­tion, on an Aus­tri­an lake, that is upheld also dur­ing the win­ter month. The fer­ry goes allover the year, 365 days. A unique expe­ri­ence by boat is an ide­al way to get to one´s des­ti­na­tion for cyclists​.In the sum­mer month, we offer a trans­fer from Hall­statt to Ober‑, Unter­see and Steeg.

Ferry to Hallstatt train station

To the east bank hik­ing trail and the sus­pen­sion bridge over the deep­est part of the lake.

Depar­ture times may be changed if trains are delayed.

Dogs with muzzle and leash are transported at the reduced children's ticket price!
Tariff regulations
Tickets are only valid on the day of purchase and must be kept for the entire journey and handed in personally at the end of the journey. No liability is accepted for punctual adherence to the timetable or for the consequences of failing to dock at a station or any cancellation of the journey.
A reduced fare applies for large items of luggage such as bicycles, baby carriages and dogs.
Passengers are not entitled to any compensation if ships are canceled. We reserve the right to change the fare at any time. Any changes will be announced on the notice board or on this website.
There is no guarantee that the ships listed in the fare will operate and no guarantee of continued transportation in the event of missed connections or cancellation of courses.
